Competitions for Clubs

Competitions and events can be a great way to engage members and promote your club in the local community. As a club there are several competitions that you can get involved in:

Premier Squash League

PSL is the most competitive squash league in the world, with many of the world’s best players representing clubs from around the country. PSL matches regularly experience packed crowds, and with the world class squash on display it is not hard to see why. If you are an ambitious club, and fancy your chances of building a squad to take on the likes of Chapel Allerton and Duffield, we would love to hear from you. If this is a step too far why not consider supporting a PSL team in your area – the PSL really does bring world class squash to your doorstep!

National Club Championships

The National Club Championships are open to every affiliated squash club in England, and regularly features the best players in the country. There are several different categories offering competitive opportunities to all. The men’s and women’s champions also get the opportunity to represent England at the European Club Championships. The National Club Championships are a great way to test your team against the best the country has to offer.

County Leagues

Inter-club leagues for each county are organised by our County Associations. County leagues are fiercely contested and great fun, as clubs from around the county battle for local bragging rights, and often cater for different levels of ability.

National Cup

Winning teams from the various county league premier divisions have the chance to progress and represent their county in the National Cup. This takes the format of regional playoffs before a National final.

National Schools Championships

If your club has strong links with a local school, or has several members from the same school, you would be eligible to enter a school team in the National Schools Championships. Each year the National Schools sees some of the best junior players in the country represent their school, with the finals taking place at the National Squash Centre.
