- What is the Club Charter
The Club Charter is a progressive club development programme that aims to increase the number of adults and juniors playing squash and racketball in clubs, increase the recruitment, education and development of coaches and volunteers, and improve the infrastructure of our club network
Put simply, if a club has achieved Club Charter status, you know that it has excellent facilities, offers a welcoming environment, sets high standards in child protection, and works closely with local schools to develop the future generations of squash and racketball players.
h3. How is the Club Charter awarded?
Clubs apply to England Squash & Racketball by way of completing a Club Health Check. This allows them to identify their own strengths, and highlight areas where the Regional Office can offer support.
Clubs will be applying for one of four levels: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Performance
The Club Charter award lasts for 2 years, but can be upgraded at any time within that period. In addition, any club that has been awarded the Club Charter since 1st January 2005 or has had their level upgraded, will have met the criteria for Club Mark, the national kite mark of a quality club.
