Referees

Without referees there would be no squash and racketball, they play a vital role in our sports. With the growth in the popularity of squash and racketball, the need for match officials is increasing.

There are four levels of refereeing qualification- Provisional, County, Tournament, and National. To find out more information about becoming a qualified referee click the Become a Referee tab above.

Within each county there is a County Referee Coordinator, who is responsible for organising and administering refereeing in their given county, as well as a number of referees, instructors, and assessors. These officials form the backbone of a County Association’s refereeing structure.

If you would like to get in touch with your county’s Referee Coordinator, contact Martin Roberts (Referee Development Officer) using the Contact Us link on the menu below.
