The objectives of the Refereeing Committee are:
- To advise on interpretation of the Rules of Squash and to contribute towards policy decisions and provide assistance with work undertaken by the World Squash Federation (WSF).
- To provide an infrastructure that improves understanding of the rules amongst squash players of all standards.
- To manage the training of referees to enable them to officiate at all levels of the game.
- To provide assistance with the grading of referees according to skills, assessments and experience.
- To make recommendations to England Squash & Racketball for the appointment of Tournament Referees.
- To deal with any disciplinary matters concerning referees which may arise.
- To keep all referees as fully informed as possible on all matters that may concern them.
