Birmingham is fortunate once again to hold a Sport Makers convention. Aston Villa F.C. will provide the perfect host to what can be a fantastic tool to really enhance your knowledge, information and connections in sport development and promotion of your sport.
Sport Makers is the Official Olympic and Paralympic Legacy programme from Sport England, and by coming along to this FREE event you will be one of 40,000 like-minded people who are making a difference to their communities.
Some do it informally with their friends, neighbours or colleagues. They might organise a kickabout with their mates or a weekly game of tennis with their work colleagues, who must be aged 16. Others don’t take part themselves. Instead, they do all the other things that make sport possible, like organising a sports event for their neighbourhood or managing a team of race volunteers.
Becoming a Sport Maker will give you the knowledge, information and connections to help you make sport happen. You will be one of 40,000 like-minded people who are making a difference to their communities.
All attendees receive a FREE Adidas T-shirt and Bag, and have the opportunity to find out about further training and opportunities for them to get involved with sport in their community.
