St Ivo Racquets Club, based at the St Ivo Outdoor Centre in Cambridgeshire, held its 2012 Club Championships this past weekend.
The club has a burgeoning Racketball section and the competition saw 14 players compete for various Racketball titles. The day was a resounding success with plenty of exciting action on display.
The overall Senior Men’s Final winner was John Dewis (black t-shirt, right), with Matt Dixon (light shirt, t-left) in second place.
In the Senior Men’s Plate Danny Coulkett came first and Derek Darnell runner up.
In the Ladies section Angelika Peters came first with Helen Bottom runner up.
In the Junior section Lewis Jones (black shirt, second left) took first place from Will Sandford (black t-shirt, far right) runner up.
The junior Plate was won by Oscar Mitchell (green t-shirt) and Alex King (white t-shirt) runner up.
The club continues to grow and holds a Racketball Night every Thursday throughout the year from 7.40pm. Members and Non-Members are both welcome. St Ivo also has a robust Squash section and hold a club night on every Thursday from 7.40pm.
