Schools
Schools are extremely important to the development of squash, and our Regional teams work extremely hard to build links between schools and clubs to help more young people get on court.
As well as developing these links, we also help to give teachers the resources to deliver squash in schools.
England Squash & Racketball have expanded upon the successful Under 15 and Under 19 age group school competitions which operate under the banner of the National Schools Championships.
We have now produced a framework for schools competition at incremental levels for children aged 7 to 16 years and also continues to operate the traditional National Schools Championships following on from this.
The competition framework for squash allows young people to move from sports hall activity, focusing on building a skill base at key stage 2, progressively through to more squash specific skills and competition at key stages 3 and 4.
All activity can be directly linked into the club sector which directly strengthens school club links.
