Victory in the Indian Challenger in March 2009 brought Adrian Grant's career PSA Tour title tally to 16 –moving the Londoner to second in the all time list of Englishmen with the most Tour titles (second only to former world number one Peter Nicol).
In 2008 Adrian achieved, in his opinion, his best ever result by beating No.2 seed Gregory Gaultier to reach the Quarter Finals of the World Championships. His good form continued as he reached the National Championship final in February 2009, and Adrian won his fourth European Team title with England in May.
