Sarah started playing squash at the age of 11. She represented her county, Cheshire, at hockey, football, netball, cross country and squash before concentrating on squash full-time.
Sarah became the first English woman in almost 10 years to win three successive WISPA World Tour titles when she clinched the Malmo Open trophy in Sweden in March 2009.
The then 25 year old began her triple title trail at the Swedish Open in February, after which she collected the Swiss Open crown in Geneva and the Malmo Open. Later that year she won the Pepsi Enschede Open in Netherlands in September, the Leinster Open in October and went back to Holland to take the Meersquash Heroes event in January 2009.
Sarah will be looking to break into the world top twenty in the next year, and what a great way to start it by getting to the final of the EBS Dayton Open 2010.
Her 2011 season began in style with consecutive quarter final appearances at the Greenwich and Cleveland Opens. On both occasions she took out former number one Vanessa Atkinson in the first round.
