Through our Equality Policy, England Squash & Racketball is committed to ensuring squash and racketball are fair, equitable and accessible. As part of that commitment we aim to recognise and deal with barriers to participation in our sport from particular groups of people. In order to achieve this we are working towards achieving the Equality Standard for Sport.

The Standard, launched in November 2004, is a framework for assisting sports organisations to widen access and reduce inequalities in sport and physical activity from under representative individuals, groups and communities, especially women and girls, ethnic minority groups and disabled people.î It provides assistance in the development of structures and processes and is designed to help us assess our performance and ensure continuous improvement.
